International Shipping
More Than Wine is an Australian company, and we can only deliver to addresses within Australia. If you need delivery to another country, you'll have to arrange it through your own shipping provider.
Holding or Delaying Orders
Once your order is placed, our system automatically processes it, so we can’t hold or delay shipping. However, if you contact us before ordering, we can schedule your delivery for a future date—up to a month out.
Authority to Leave (ATL)
By choosing our "Authority to Leave" option (or if you already have one set up with your delivery centre), you authorise the courier to leave your package unattended at your address. Once the courier drops it off, we consider the order delivered. Please note, we’re not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs after delivery. If the delivery location is unsuitable for ATL, you’ll receive a notification card for pickup at your nearest post office.
No Authority to Leave
Deliveries typically occur Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. In some metro areas, deliveries may also happen in the evenings or on Saturdays. If no one is available to receive the order and it isn’t collected within 10 working days, it will be returned to us. Once we have it back, we can either issue a refund or re-deliver the order, though additional fees may apply.
Proof of Delivery
When your order is delivered, Australia Post will generate Proof of Delivery (POD) with the shipping details. It’s important to double-check your address when placing your order because we can't be responsible for missing orders if the POD confirms delivery to the correct address.
Proof of Age
We won’t deliver wine to anyone under 18 years of age. If our delivery driver isn’t sure of the recipient’s age, they’ll ask for a photo ID. If ID isn’t provided, the wine won’t be left, and there will be a $25 fee for returned orders.
Correct Address
We can’t be held responsible for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by customers. If your delivery is going to a business, make sure to include the company name. Double-check your details to avoid extra fees if the order has to be rerouted or returned.
Marketplace products
We list products that we source from our many Wine Collective Partners. As these products come from a variety of locations, they are not available for immediate dispatch. By default, we will ship your order once all items have been received in our Sydney warehouse. This will result in a small delay of 6-8 business days between placing your order and dispatch. Vintages for Marketplace items are subject to change, and we cannot guarantee the specific vintage you ordered will be delivered. Generally, the latest available vintage will be delivered to you.
