More Than Wine Refund Policy
This policy outlines how More Than Wine handles customer refunds.
No Returns on Certain Items Unfortunately, we cannot offer returns or exchanges on Marketplace items and Mystery Wines. Some heavily discounted wines may also be non-returnable, but this will be specified on the product page. For Marketplace items, vintages may vary, and we will generally send you the latest available vintage.
Please note, the original delivery fee is non-refundable for any returns.
Breakages If Australia Post notifies us that your wines were damaged during transit, we’ll contact you to arrange a return or replacement. If the wines are no longer available, we’ll do our best to offer a similar replacement at the same price. Keep in mind that this may affect your delivery timeline.
Once your order is delivered, the risk of damage, loss, or deterioration passes to you, and we cannot offer refunds for products that are damaged after delivery has been accepted.
Change of Mind or Order Adjustments Our fulfilment system is automated, so once an order is placed, changes may not be possible. However, if you contact us within 14 days of placing your order, we’ll try to make the necessary changes or arrange a return. Please note that a fee or return shipping costs may apply for any changes. That’s why we recommend carefully checking your order details before finalising your purchase.
We aim to process all refunds within 14 days of receiving your request or from the date the returned wines reach us. Marketplace and Mystery Wines are exceptions, and unfortunately, we cannot make any adjustments to these items.
Returns must be completed within 4 weeks of receiving your return labels.
Quality or Taste Discrepancy If you’ve ordered a straight case (e.g., 6 or 12 bottles of the same wine) and aren’t happy with the quality after trying one bottle, we can arrange for the return of the remaining bottles. Returns must be made within 90 days of purchase, and we’ll provide a Postal Returns label for drop-off at your local Post Office.
Once the wines are returned to our warehouse, we’ll credit the value of the wines in a More Than Wine Gift Card, which can be used for future purchases. Please note that these Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
We recommend testing a bottle within 90 days if you plan on cellaring your wine, as no refunds will be processed after this time.
Unfortunately, Marketplace and Mystery Wines are not eligible for Quality Returns.

Exceptions If More Than Wine believes a buyer is misusing our Refund Policy, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel the refund, cancel any pending orders, and/or close the buyer's account.
Manufacturer's Liability If your purchase includes a manufacturer's warranty, More Than Wine takes no responsibility for the warranty’s content, fulfilment, or enforcement. You’ll need to contact the manufacturer directly with any questions or claims.
Except as outlined above, no returns will be accepted, and no refunds will be made for purchases made through the More Than Wine website.
